This site is here to provide understanding, hope, information and a collection of experiences to help others find their way to the end of the dark tunnel of addiction – find the light that is.

I started this blog because of the many people I have enountered (either directly or indirectly) that have an obvious or not so obvious addiction that harms their life in profound ways.  The recognition of these problems has saddened me to the point that I feel that I should write about / do something about  it.

Unlike many of the evils of this world – addiction comes with a choice.  And if you can choose, you can win.  I acknowledges that this choice and the resultant struggle are often very difficult.  That is why I hope to help with this blog.

Please join me by posting your anonymous stories of drug or alcohol abuse – good or bad – whether about you or someone you love or have otherwise encountered, so that we can build an online record that will serve to inform, inspire, and perhaps transform the lives of those who read this record in a positive and helpful way.
